FH won the Gothia Cup
It was a truly victorious weekend for Hafnarfjörður when the boys' under-15 team from FH emerged as champions at the international Gothia Cup football tournament in Sweden. The team had a fantastic tournament and finished the competition undefeated. FH won nine games, drew one, scored a total of 53 goals and conceded only two. After the victory, the FH boys celebrated with the Icelandic viking clap alongside their supporters.

It was a truly victorious weekend for Hafnarfjörður when the FH men's under-15 team emerged as the winner of the international Gothia Cup football tournament in Sweden. The team had a fantastic tournament and finished the competition undefeated. FH won nine matches, drew one, scoring a total of 53 goals and conceding only two. In the final, the FH boys defeated the Spanish team Imperial Future 1–0, with Víkingur Hrafn Þórhallsson scoring the winning goal. The success reflects not only the great talent of the players but also the ambition, unity, and the hard work of the coaches, volunteers, and parents who support the team and all the teams in the tournament. Such moments are created through the combined effort of many and are a great inspiration for young athletes. After the victory, the FH boys celebrated with the Icelandic viking clap alongside their supporters – a memorable moment that caught the attention and demonstrated the team spirit and joy that characterised the trip.
