Town Council Meeting, 20th March

A town council meeting has been called for Wednesday, 20th March. The formal meeting will begin at 14:00 in the town council chamber at Hafnarborg, Strandgata 34. The agenda for the meeting can be accessed here. The meeting can be watched live here.

Nutritional Agreement and Standardised Menus

Kindergartens in Hafnarfjörður operate under a new nutrition charter and cook according to standardised menus. Audio Recording Grants 2019

Hafnarfjörður is inviting applications for grants for the treatment of windows on buildings facing busy roads. Grants are available for improving the sound insulation of windows on the sides of a building where the noise level is calculated to be 65 dB(A) or higher.  When awarding grants, priority will be given to those living in the most severe conditions.
