The 2019 property charge assessment notices are now available on My Pages at www.hafnarfjordur.is. The assessment notices show the amounts for property tax, land lease, water, sewerage and refuse collection charges. Also included are the property valuation and information about the owners and payers of the charges. Cross-country ski trails laid in Hafnarfjörður

The archery club Hrói Höttur has joined the ranks of Hafnarfjörður's sports clubs.

The newest sports club in the array of Hafnarfjörður clubs is the Archery Club Hrói Höttur. The club was founded on 3rd September and the first course began in the sports hall of Hraunvallar school in December.  This is the first archery club in the capital region to have facilities in a sports hall, and there appears to be great growth in archery in this country.
