Great interest in Widegata Square
A working group was recently established by the City of Hafnarfjörður to explore the potential for making even better use of Víðistaðatún and to develop a vision for the area. On 20th April, a public meeting was held about Víðistaðatún. Many people attended, and there were lively and interesting discussions.
Cultural grants awarded
The City of Hafnarfjörður awarded cultural grants at a ceremony in Hafnarborg last Friday, and 23 individuals, cultural groups or organisations received grants from the Cultural and Tourism Committee this year.
