Today, representatives of Hafnarfjörður sports clubs received grants for the clubs' under-16 athletes from Rio Tinto Alcan in Iceland Ltd and the City of Hafnarfjörður, at a ceremony in Straumsvík. Retires after decades of work
In the autumn of 1961, over 200 seven and eight-year-old children started at Öldutúnsskóli. Haukur Helgason was appointed headmaster, along with four teachers.
