—————————–
In my work, I explore the body as a living archive of memories, experiences and transformations. I approach this through my own experience as a woman and through the different stages of life, where personal experiences, emotions and traces of the past accumulate and shape who we are.
The works emerge from reflections on our existence as spiritual and creative beings. I consider the relationship between the body, the soul and the divine – not as a religious authority outside ourselves, but as inner wisdom, intuition and a deeper consciousness. What if we are in constant dialogue with something greater than ourselves, something that also resides within us? What does it mean to be human, to have a voice and to be able to express what we feel within?
Through this process, a dialogue with the self begins – with intuition, memory and that which has not previously found words. The voice becomes not only a means of expressing ourselves outwardly, but also a way of moving closer to the self and to this “something greater” that resides within us.
Is the purpose of life to become something other than what we are, or is it to experience, create and remember who we have always been? What if life is not simply something that happens to us, but a process in which we actively participate in creating? And what happens when the body dies? Do we continue in another form, in another vessel, or is death part of a greater cycle that we do not yet understand?
By letting go of old roles and identities, space opens up for something new. Transformation then becomes not an endpoint, but an ongoing dialogue with the past, the body, the soul and life itself.
Working with handmade paper, porcelain, metal, cacao, found materials gathered while walking, and organic forms, I seek a balance between vulnerability and strength. The artworks become embodied memories and a dialogue with the soul – a kind of exploration of what it means to know, to experience and to be.
